I was reading Ian's post and saw your comment.
And the funny thing is, you look really familiar!
Well that town IS a small one, so I suppose it's possible.

Here's hoping you enjoy blogging, it's always nice to have another friendly (familiar) face to read!

Cheers!

So, thank you for visiting my blog and thank you for perusing it in the past. Thank you even more for being familiar with my earlier writings in the Comox Valley. So, had we ever met in the past. I'm like Tai (who is also from the Comox Valley) in that you seem to look familiar. Just curious.
In any case, please do keep coming back and I'll look foward to your future postings.
Cheers,
Ian

hanks Tai.
I left the Comox Valley in 1995 so it's been awhile and, of course, I've aged...
My husband and I owned a framing/art gallery when we were there, so perhaps we did cross paths.
I'll look for your comments and drop into your blog.
For now

Ian—yes we did cross paths several times. As I noted to Tai, my husband and I owned a gallery/framing shop in Courtney. I am not able to disclose my full name for security reasons. You actually photographed my husband and I for a New Year's page in about 1988.
As I having been reading your posts, I note that we have quite a bit more in common than I thought (you know how it is when you feel a particular affinity for someone). I'll expound another time.
take care

Aha -- of course. And of course there was a reason you looked familiar. I remember taking the photo and talking (with much pleasure) with you. Amazing.
I also find it interesting that you too were an addictions counsellor. I still have pictures on the wall that you people framed for me.

(Feb. 15) It was so nice to hear from you again. I was wondering what had happened to you. Glad to know you're still out there, despite the frigidity of your environment. Our crocuses are in bloom, I might gloatingly add.
Cheers and good wishes,
Ian
